“Google on Monday released an experimental new content browser called Fast Flip that makes it possible to see a curated set of content sites using a physical “turn the pages” metaphor. Fast Flip pages are cached by Google and load very quickly, which is cool. And if your brain is stuck in 1969 and you want to pretend that new-fangled computer in front of you is a microfilm reader, it’ll feel natural to use.”
Leuk, niet super nuttig maar wel een interessante gedachte.

Gist is dus een mashup tussen email, tweets, news en meer. Nogal moeilijk om uit te leggen daarom is het misschien interessanter
om het zelf eens uit te proberen. -
FluidHTML

FluidHtml is a text-based markup language (like HTML) that lets you dynamically generate Flash content. This is an extraordinarily powerful idea. It means that anyone can build highly animated websites, ads, media players and 3D animations quickly and easily.
De bedoeling is dus om het gemak van HTML met het flashy van.. flash te combineren.
De mediplayer in de preview hierboven is dus gebouwd met FluidHTML, wat mogelijk maakt om via CSS de look & feel van de player aan te passen. -
iTwin
iTwin is a two-piece bit of USB hardware that acts as a “cableless cable” allowing two computers to connect and share files as long as they have an Internet connection. There’s nothing to set up, since both halves of the device are paired together and stay constantly connected. Users just plug it in, and can begin dropping files large and small into a shared folder.
Tof idee, ma toch nog een beetje onduidelijk wat nu net het verschil is met een USB stick.( aangezien je eerst je files op de stick moet zetten, en dan pas loskoppelen en doorgeven. )Tenzij de verbinding blijft voortbestaan na de splitsing en de folder gesynchroniseerd wordt natuurlijk.

Going Google.
Going google is een marketingcampagne gelanceerd door google ergens begin augustus, met de bedoeling bedrijven en scholen te overtuigen om gebruik te maken van de gratis google aps zoals gmail, google docs, google sync, enz.
Er was een leuke campagne aan gekoppeld, en inmiddels zijn er al meer dan 5 miljoen studenten die gebruik maken van google aps.
Misschien ook een leuk idee voor’t KASK ?

Voorlopig nog allemaal in beta, maar je kan ze gratis downloaden en uitproberen.Zelfs voor mac-liefhebbers niet geheel onintressant, aangezien windows live messenger 1 van de opgewaardeerde services is.

Zeer goeie service die het onder andere heel eenvoudig maakt om je GSM en computer te syncronizeren met behulp van een web-service.Meer info hier.
Tip: er bestaat ook een Funambol Plugin voor Thunderbird. Combineer dit met Mozilla Lightning en je kan ook je agenda perfect syncronizeren.
